Movie Theaters across the country are closing. In the past 4 years since COVID-19 started more than 3500 movie screens across the US have shuttered their doors for good. We don’t want to close the Reel Mountain Theater in Estes Park. We want you all to come back to the movies in Estes Park. For Movie Theaters to survive they must evolve the Reel on April 15th, 2024, it will become a Membership Theatre. We at the Reel Mountain and the Historic Park Theatre want you to have the best Entertainment experience possible: large screen, digital surround sound, bright projection and new seats at the Historic Park Theatre. We need you, Estes Park and surrounding Locals, to be movie heroes. We need you to purchase an Unlimited Membership. We need you –the local people of Estes Park to return to the Cinemas and to be our Movie Heroes. The Reel Mountain will become a membership theatre the Historic Park will honor the unlimited movie memberships but remain a regular ticketed theatre. 2,000 unlimited movie members are needed to save the Reel Mountain Theater. You can save the Local Cinema and be a Movie Hero. If 2,000 members buy a membership this can Save the Movies here in Estes Park.
Great Entertainment is meant to be seen in large auditoriums with large screens bright projection, comfortable seats, full digital surround sound and with other people. This is our goal, and we want it to be affordable and where you can truly be scared, laugh, and enjoy what the filmmakers really wanted you to see. With Unlimited Membership you can see every movie for one low price, create a friend’s night, date night, weekly guy’s night, or girl’s gathering, a true social experience so that you all get out of your homes. We want you to see all that the film industry has to offer. It’s not possible to catch what the filmmakers intend when you don’t have what the Theaters have.
Returning to the Cinemas with Unlimited membership is wonderful and easy. Go online to: https://www.reelmountain.com/membership. Click on the appropriate unlimited membership plan for you to sign up. This makes you a movie hero and you are helping to save the movies in Estes Park. Membership is a lot like a gym membership. It is per month and per person and is billed monthly to your debit or credit card. Those choosing not to buy an unlimited membership will need to purchase a day pass at the Reel Mountain Theatre the next time they see a movie. Day Passes will be $18. Day Passes give you access all day to movies. The Unlimited monthly memberships are close to Day pass prices $14 for children, $19 for seniors/students, and $24 for adults. With these low monthly prices, it is probably better for you to purchase a monthly unlimited membership. At least one person in a group attending the Reel Mountain Theatre will need an unlimited membership or day pass. Guest tickets can be purchased by a day pass member or unlimited member for $9 for children, $10.50 for students and seniors and $13 for adults this will gain admissions to one movie per guest ticket. Day passes are good for the entire day for that one person. The good news is if you are headed out of town you can place your membership on hold or cancel your membership at any time.
What is included in unlimited membership: You can see all 1st run movies and all Fathom movies (Like Gone with the Wind on April 7th & 10th) at the Historic Park Theatre included in your Unlimited movie membership. We offer $1 off large drinks & large popcorns (both locations) and $1 off alcoholic beverages (at the Historic Park. We also offer 10% off private rentals for Parties, weddings, special events at either the Historic Park Theatre or the Reel Mountain Theatre. This means you could have a private party for less than $250. What a great idea for your special event and celebration. As we have said we want the movies and great entertainment to be affordable. One final benefit is discounts on the Met Operas at the Historic Park Theatre. The Met Operas are expensive the tickets run $25 but we can offer Unlimited Members a $13 discount. So Met Opera tickets are just $12 to Unlimited members. With the new seats at the Historic Park Theatre this is a wonderful way to get amazing world entertainment right here in Estes Park.
