Poem: About A Raining Day

In whispers low, the clouds convene, A shroud of gray, a silken screen, The world awash in twilight’s glow, As gentle drizzles start to flow. Pavements glisten, mirrored skies, Reflecting dreams, where silence lies, Each droplet dances, soft and slow, In harmony with nature’s flow. The trees bow down, their leaves embrace, The tender kiss of water’s grace, With every splash, the earth exhales, As puddles bloom like silver trails. Children clad in coats of bright, Jumping through the pools of light, Their laughter rings like silver bells, A symphony of joy that swells. The air is sweet, a fragrant blend, Of petrichor, as breezes send The scent of life, refreshed and new, Inviting solace, calm, and hue. So let the rain, with gentle hand, Unravel day’s demands so grand, For in the droplets’ soft refrain, Lies beauty found on a rainy day.
